Start listening to the new Foo Fighters album, ‘Your Favorite Toy’.

The new Foo Fighters album, *Your Favorite Toy*, is out now! This marks their 12th studio album and follows 2023’s *But Here We Are*. The band has faced some tough times recently. In September 2024, Dave Grohl revealed he had a child outside his marriage, leading to the cancellation of their remaining shows. Then, in May 2025, drummer Josh Freese was let go from the band after joining in 2023, following the death of Taylor Hawkins in 2022.

The Foo Fighters made their comeback in July 2025 with the single “Today’s Song.” They returned to live performances in September 2025, introducing their new drummer, Ilan Rubin, who was previously with Nine Inch Nails. Another new track, “Asking for a Friend,” was released in October 2025. In February, they announced *Your Favorite Toy* and dropped its title track, followed by two more songs, “Caught in the Echo” and “Of All People.”

During this challenging period, Grohl has been focusing on his mental health. He shared that he has been in therapy six days a week for over 70 weeks, totaling more than 430 sessions. To celebrate the release of *Your Favorite Toy*, the Foo Fighters will perform on *Saturday Night Live UK* this Saturday. They have a one-off show in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on April 28, and will headline the Welcome to Rockville and BottleRock Napa festivals in May. A full North American stadium tour is set to kick off in August.
