Stop the Presses! Gene Simmons Has Finally Weighed in on Kim and Kanye

We know you’ve all been clamoring for Gene Simmons’ take on the drama surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, and thankfully, The Demon has finally chimed in.

Simmons was asked for his opinion of the Kardashian/West divorce saga by TMZ, and he said, “For the record, he’s a talented guy. There’s no question about it. He’s out of his mind… This is your wife, the mother of your children… There’s something clinically wrong with him, as he’s admitted. He has a physiological problem.”

Kardashian and West’s divorce proceedings have dragged on since February 2021 when Kim initially filed to legally end her marriage to Kanye. Since then, the couple managed to make numerous gossip headlines from Kim beginning to date SNL cast member Pete Davidson to Ye’s many questionable actions, including buying a home directly across the street from Kim and his consistent attacks on her parenting decisions, dating Kim look-alike Chaney Jones and other choices. Kanye’s latest move involves releasing the music video for “Eazy” which depicts West kidnapping and beheading Davidson.

Simmons continued, “Pete [Davidson]’s a cool guy who takes the high road. Just ignore it. At a certain point, if everybody misbehaves, a good bitchslap [might be needed]…It’s, like, guy, you’ve got a roof over your head, you’ve got food in your tummy. You can do whatever you want. Get a hobby. That’s better. Leave him alone. Move on. Love your kids. Love the mother of your kids and let her make her own decisions. She’s a grown-ass woman now and she doesn’t need your permission.”

Simmons added about Ye, “Being like that publicly, getting a Kim lookalike, it’s childish. And it’s not fair to this girl who happens to resemble Kim. Good for you. You can resemble anybody or anything, but don’t be a hand puppet to somebody who’s playing some kind of game. He needs to back off. He’s not a bad guy. But this is not even childish. There’s something — he admitted there’s something clinically wrong.”
