StubHub issues apology for mix-up between Lamb of God concert and Christian music event

Metal fans in Spartanburg, South Carolina, were excited to see a listing on StubHub for a Lamb of God concert on December 20. However, it turned out to be a mix-up. Instead of the heavy metal band, the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium was actually hosting Christian musician Andrew Peterson’s “Behold the Lamb of God” tour.

A StubHub spokesperson acknowledged the confusion, saying, “We apologize for the misleading listing. We updated the event page and contacted customers to clarify the details. Anyone who bought tickets thinking it was a different show can reach out for a full refund under our FanProtect Guarantee.”

Lamb of God’s frontman, Randy Blythe, shared the news on his Instagram Story, posting a screenshot of the mix-up. He noted, “We usually play [Spartanburg venue GroundZero] NOT Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.” He added, “This [is] why StubHub sucks,” along with some laughing emojis.

For fans looking forward to seeing Lamb of God live, the band is set to kick off a U.S. tour in March. Stay tuned for more updates on their shows!
