Sublime Commemorates 30th Anniversary with Exciting New Album and Additional Surprises

Sublime is set to release a new album titled *Till the Sun Explodes* in 2026. This will be their first original record in 30 years! The announcement comes as the band prepares to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their self-titled album from 1996.

The new album follows the success of their single “Ensenada,” which topped the alternative radio charts for seven weeks in 2025, breaking records along the way. Last year, the band returned with a new lineup, featuring Jakob Nowell, the son of late frontman Bradley Nowell, on lead vocals and guitar. Original members Bud Gaugh on drums and Eric Wilson on bass complete the trio.

The self-titled album released in 1996 came out just two months after Bradley Nowell’s passing. It sold five million copies and went five times platinum, with hits like “What I Got,” “Wrong Way,” and “Santeria” becoming fan favorites.

Sublime will perform their self-titled album in full for the first time on April 17, 2026, at Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver. They will also have a second show on April 18, featuring a set that spans their entire career. Bud Gaugh expressed excitement about the venue, saying, “Red Rocks Amphitheatre is one of the world’s most spiritual places. I can’t think of a better place to play the Sublime self-titled album from cover to cover.”

In addition to these shows, Sublime will perform at the Innings Festival in Tempe on February 22, Sonic Temple in Columbus in mid-May, and the Slam Dunk festival in the UK on May 23 and 24. They will also have holiday concerts next month in Tulsa, Chicago, San Jose, and Los Angeles.
