Sublime has just released a new song called “Gangstalker,” which is part of their upcoming album, *Until the Sun Explodes*. Frontman Jakob Nowell described the track as “pure chaos.” He expressed his excitement about how the drum and guitar parts came together in the studio.
Jakob shared that sometimes it’s hard to make a song sound like what you imagine, but “Gangstalker” was different. He called it a “frenetic, California tweaker, punk anthem” that he fully supports. The music video for “Gangstalker” is now available on YouTube.
*Until the Sun Explodes* will be released on June 12. This album is significant as it marks the first new music from Sublime in 30 years and features Jakob Nowell, the son of the late frontman Bradley Nowell. The title track is currently at #1 on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart, and the single “Ensenada” has also reached the top spot.
