The backyard party-themed visual features band members performing poolside alongside family and friends.
Sublime has released a music video for “F.T.R.,” the eighth track on Until the Sun Explodes, their first new album in 30 years. Released on June 12 via Atlantic Records, the album features founding members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh alongside Jakob Nowell, the son of late frontman Bradley Nowell. Filmed at a Fourth of July poolside barbecue surrounded by close friends and family, the video pays homage to the band’s origins as a backyard party group.
Until the Sun Explodes includes guest appearances from H.R. of Bad Brains, Fletcher Dragge of Pennywise, G Love, FIDLAR, and Skegss, and features top-charting singles such as “Ensenada” and the album’s title track. The release follows recent recognition at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles, where the band received a plaque celebrating the diamond certification of their self-titled album for selling over ten million units.
