Suicidal Tendencies Unveils Six-City Tour and New Single Amid Metallica Stadium Tour

Punk-metal legends Suicidal Tendencies are set to rock Australia and New Zealand this fall with six intimate shows. They’ll also be opening for Metallica on the M72 World Tour from October 31 to November 18.

The tour kicks off at Perth’s Magnet House, followed by stops at Melbourne’s Forum and Frankston’s Pier Bandroom. They’ll then head to Brisbane’s Tivoli and Sydney’s Roundhouse, wrapping up at Auckland’s Powerstation.

Vocalist Mike Muir shared his excitement on Instagram, thanking Metallica and the crew for an unforgettable experience in the U.S. He added, “The Australian shows coming up are definitely a dream come true!”

Fans can expect Muir’s powerful vocals, supported by guitarists Ben Weinman and Dean Pleasants. Tye Trujillo will be on bass, and Jay Weinberg, who recently left Slipknot, will be on drums. This will be Weinberg’s first tour in Australia with the band. Tye will perform in the same stadiums as his dad, Robert Trujillo, Metallica’s bassist.

After a seven-year break, Suicidal Tendencies has released a new song, “Adrenaline Addict,” featuring Australian artist Nisha Star. This is their first new music since 2018’s “Still Cyco Punk After All These Years.” With over 45 years of history, the band continues to make waves.

Opening each headline show will be Big Noter, a new metal project from Australian hip-hop star Briggs, with their first album set to drop next year.

Suicidal Tendencies will join Metallica and Evanescence at major stadiums, including Perth’s Optus Stadium, Adelaide Oval, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium, Sydney’s Accor Stadium, and Auckland’s Eden Park.

Tickets for the Australian shows go on sale July 17 at 10 a.m. local time, with New Zealand tickets available at noon local time. Don’t miss out!
