System Of A Down has announced a free weeklong exhibition at Beyond The Streets gallery in Los Angeles, opening on Tuesday, Oct. 13, and wrapping up on Sunday, Oct. 18. Located at 434 N La Brea Ave, the show requires no tickets for admission. Visitors will find rare artifacts and memorabilia from the band’s 2001 album Toxicity, immersive installations highlighting the record’s iconography, and exclusive merchandise. Exhibition hours are Tuesday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Beyond The Streets, founded by Roger Gastman, is a graffiti and street art gallery that offers free admission for its rotating shows and includes a curated shop next to its exhibition space. System Of A Down’s Toxicity originally debuted on Sept. 4, 2001, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and featuring tracks like “Chop Suey!” and “Aerials.” The album recently received a seven-times platinum certification in the United States for selling 7 million units.
