System of a Down’s “Aerials” has passed 1 billion streams on Spotify. It’s the band’s fourth song to reach that milestone, after “Toxicity,” “Chop Suey!” and “Lonely Day.”
“Aerials,” “Chop Suey!” and “Toxicity” are from their 2001 album Toxicity, which will turn 25 in September. “Lonely Day” is from their 2005 album Hypnotize, the band’s most recent full album. System of a Down did release two new songs in 2020.
