Tara Lipinski is defending her choices as a mom.
The 43-year-old retired figure skater recently arrived in Milan, Italy to cover the 2026 Winter Olympics. Joining Tara in Italy is her 2-year-old daughter Georgie.
On Friday (February 6), Tara defended bringing her daughter with her to the Olympics as she works.
Keep reading to find out more…“Maybe I don’t want to choose,” Tara wrote on her Instagram Story. “For so long, women weren’t given that option. I want my daughter to see a mother who chases her dreams and shows up fully for her.”
“I can do both,” she added of balancing mom duties with her work obligations. “In my own way at the same time.”
Along with her message, Tara included a photo of Georgie sitting on her shoulders.
If you didn’t know, Tara and husband Todd Kapostasy welcomed Georgie via surrogate in 2023.
