Taylor Swift has just shattered records with her new album, *The Life of a Showgirl*, and she’s ready to give fans a closer look at her journey. To wrap up her incredible Eras Tour, she will release a docuseries and concert film.
On December 12, the day before her 36th birthday, Disney+ will debut a six-part docuseries titled *Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era*. This series will explore the “development, impact, and inner workings” of the Eras Tour, which has become the highest-grossing concert tour ever, raking in over $2 billion from 149 shows worldwide.
On the same day, Disney+ will also release *Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show*, a full-length concert film featuring the last performance of the tour, filmed on December 8, 2024, at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver. This film will include material from Swift’s 2024 album, *The Tortured Poets Department*.
In a teaser video, Swift reflects on the tour, saying, “The Eras Tour wasn’t when all the pieces fell into place. This tour was just when every single one of us who had done so much work clicked together.” She also shared on social media, “It was the End of an Era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to this important chapter of our lives.”
The news comes after *The Life of a Showgirl* had a historic debut, selling over 4 million equivalent album units in its first week and making history with all 12 tracks occupying the top spots on the Billboard Hot 100.
