Ted Nugent is set to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his iconic album “Stranglehold” with a special pay-per-view livestream concert on April 4. The performance, featuring 17 songs, was recorded on August 31, 2025, at the Freedom Hill Amphitheatre in Detroit. This concert marks half a century since Nugent released his first solo album.
Fans can expect stunning 4K video and high-definition audio during the show. The setlist includes classic hits like “Cat Scratch Fever” and many more of Nugent’s best-known tracks.
Although Nugent has reduced his touring schedule recently, he has announced 10 shows for 2026. A recent social media update hinted that more dates could be added soon. His 2026 tour kicks off on March 21 in Round Mountain, Texas, and wraps up on June 12 in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Some notable stops include Arizona Bike Week at Westworld in Scottsdale on April 11 and a show at Murphy Arts District in El Dorado, Arkansas, on April 18. In Texas, he will perform at The Haute Spot in Leander on May 1, Buck’s Backyard in Buda on May 2, and The Backyard in Waco on May 9.
