The All-American Rejects’ ‘Move Along’ Album Reissued on Vinyl and CD

The All-American Rejects are reissuing their classic album Move Along on vinyl, and this time it comes in a fun translucent grape color. Originally released in 2005, Move Along helped the band rise to fame after their debut album in 2002, which featured the hit “Swing, Swing.”

Move Along went 3x Platinum and produced three major hits on the Billboard Hot 100: “Move Along,” “It Ends Tonight,” and “Dirty Little Secret,” the last of which is certified 6x Platinum. The band toured for three years, playing sold-out shows worldwide in support of the album.

Critics praised Move Along upon its release. They highlighted Tyson Ritter’s impressive vocals and the band’s knack for catchy hooks.

This year, the band released two new songs, “Sandbox” and “Easy Come, Easy Go,” from their upcoming album, Sandbox, set to drop in 2026. “Sandbox” has been noted for its lyrical depth, with Ritter addressing political themes for the first time. He mentioned, “There is a message in it if you listen to it. I’m proud that we can stand up there on stage and play this and not feel like we’re trying to sing to 14-year-old girls.”

The music video for “Sandbox,” directed by Joseph Kahn, features the band battling a puppet uprising, adding a playful twist to the serious themes.
