The Beach Boys have launched an exclusive and limited SiriusXM radio channel, Good Vibrations: The Beach Boys Channel. Launching on July 1 and running through August 31 on SiriusXM satellite and streaming, the radio channel will feature a comprehensive audio collection of The Beach Boys’ musical legacy.

Good Vibrations: The Beach Boys Channel will include audio from Feel Flow – The Sunflower and Surf’s Up Sessions 1969-1971, the forthcoming box set from The Beach Boys out August 27 via Capitol Records.

The channel will particularly center around extremely rare and previously unreleased audio material that is included on the box set. In total, Feel Flow – The Sunflower and Surf’s Up Sessions 1969-1971 includes a whopping 135 tracks, 108 of which are made up of previously unreleased songs, live recordings, radio promotions, alternative versions and mixes, isolated backing tracks, a capella versions of songs pulled from the album sessions.

The channel will also highlight some of the group’s biggest hits and the work of its solo members in addition to the rarities. Alongside the featured music, Good Vibrations will include exclusive stories from current and past members of The Beach Boys as well as their family members.

Feel Flow – The Sunflower and Surf’s Up Sessions 1969-1971 has been in the works since 2018. Assembled by Mark Linett and Alan Boyd, the box set features linear notes from Howie Edelson, exclusive photos, lyric sheers and archival interviews.

The project will be made available in abbreviated versions as well, including 4LP on both black vinyl and limited edition Translucent Blue and Translucent Gold color vinyl, 2LP black vinyl and 2CD editions.

Ahead of the box set release, The Beach Boys have shared the track “Susie Cincinnati” from the band’s acclaimed show in Anaheim, California in July 1976 as a teaser for the project.
