The Black Crowes have released the music video for their new single “Profane Prophecy,” one of two tracks from their upcoming album, A Pound of Feathers. The video features the band summoning seven devils, each representing a deadly sin, to disrupt a fairytale world filled with strict morals and tough consequences.
Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes explains, “‘Profane Prophecy’ is about the devil you know, the devil you never knew, the devil inside of me and the devil inside of you. It captures the mischief and madness of rock n roll … and you can dance to it.”
A Pound of Feathers, set to drop on March 13, is the band’s 10th studio album and their first since 2024’s Happiness Bastards. Along with “Profane Prophecy,” they have also shared a track called “Pharmacy Chronicles.” Fans can preorder the album now.
The Black Crowes have announced a tour for 2026, starting in Australia on April 2 in Melbourne. They will perform two nights in Japan on April 14 and 15. The band also has shows lined up across the U.K. and Europe in June and July. Additionally, they will open four shows for Guns N’ Roses on their North American tour, beginning August 22 in Las Vegas.
