Wildfire smoke from Canada forced two outdoor concerts to be postponed Thursday.
The Black Keys were set to headline the Salt Shed in Chicago. The band said they were postponing the show after the city warned about heavy smoke. The concert has been moved indoors and will now take place Oct. 20 and 21. Tickets already bought will still be valid.
Creed had a show planned for the Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee, Minnesota. The band said the environmental conditions made it unsafe for the band, crew, staff and fans. Their date is now Sept. 5, and existing tickets will be honored. Bush was on the bill but cannot make the new date; refund info is available where tickets were bought.
Both bands thanked fans for understanding and said they look forward to playing the rescheduled shows.
