That’s a wrap on the upcoming series Vought Rising!
Prime Video’s upcoming The Boys spinoff series, set in the 1950s, has officially finished filming on it’s first season, according to star and executive producer Jensen Ackles.
“Finishing out with a bang! It’s been an absolute thrill ride. Thanks to the crew and cast and all those that gave so much time and energy to make this happen. You’re all a bunch of psychos…and I love you for it. @primevideo @sonypicturestv @theboystv @voughtrising,” he wrote on Instagram on Wednesday (March 11).
The series is described as a “twisted murder mystery” about the origins of Vought, “the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought. We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V,” per executive producer Eric Kripke and showrunner/executive producer Paul Grellong.
