The Funeral Portrait has announced a new live album and concert film titled *Live from Suffocate City*. This set was recorded during their hometown show in Atlanta, called the Suffocate City Town Hall Meeting. The album is set to release on January 16, 2026. Fans can check out the live performance of “Voodoo Doll” now streaming on YouTube.
Frontman Lee Jennings shared that “‘Voodoo Doll’ is about the pain of watching someone you love struggle with addiction. It captures the helplessness of trying to save them when they don’t want help.” He added, “Performing it live at the first Suffocate City Town Hall was special; you could feel every word coming back from the crowd. This live video from our Blu-ray captures that raw emotion perfectly.”
The Funeral Portrait’s latest studio album, *Greetings from Suffocate City*, was released in 2024, and a deluxe version came out in June. Fans can look forward to more exciting content from the band as they continue to share their music and experiences.
