The Lemon Twigs Invade Asbury Park with a Rad Show at The New Asbury Lanes

Brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario write and record some very cool music. The Lemon Twigs not only bring you great music but they also bring you a great show. A very 70’s style fashion sense that pops out at you. I was hanging out in the venue before the show so I got to see the Twigs interacting with their friends, family and the two other touring bands the Rubber Band Gun and Jungle Green. Andres on tour as the drummer for the Lemon Twigs is also the drummer of a local Jersey shore band called Mad Kings. Andres talked to us about how much he learned being on tour. Asbury Lanes had the venue setup perfectly for this show with some very cool 70’s style foam spiral couches for fans to sit on and enjoy. Both opening bands were just as entertaining as the Twigs. Frontman Kevin Basko of the Rubber Band Gun band kicked off a great night with Jungle Green wowing the crowd as their frontman crawled around the floor as well as under the stage. At one point he crawled up to me and untied my sneaker. I highly recommend seeing the Lemon Twigs live I promise you will enjoy yourself.
