Parkway Drive has released an official statement addressing recent legal developments involving Jed Gordon, a longtime member of the band's touring camp. The statement follows reports that Gordon entered a guilty plea to charges of s*xual intercourse with a person 14 or over and under 16 years of age. Gordon, who has worked in various roles for the band including merchandise management, is scheduled to receive his sentencing on May 19th.

While some media reports have identified Gordon as the brother of Parkway Drive drummer Ben Gordon, the exact nature of their relationship has not been officially confirmed.

The band's response comes after details of the case and the subsequent legal proceedings began circulating online earlier this week.

“We’ve recently learned that someone we’ve been associated with has pleaded guilty to an underage sex offence in 2002.

This is appalling and we condemn it. We’re gutted and we support the victim.

This happened before we were a band, however we bear moral responsibility for contracting him from 2003, on and off over the years.

While he hasn’t toured with us since 2017, more recently he’s been part of our Australian online merch team. When the band heard about this, we terminated his contract immediately.

He’s no longer involved with Parkway Drive in any capacity.
This is heartbreaking on a very human scale.

This is still ongoing in the courts so we’re closing comments.”

Seether has officially announced a new digital-only EP titled Beneath The Surface, scheduled for release on April 17, 2026, via Concord Records. The EP serves as a companion piece to their 2024 album The Surface Seems So Far and features four tracks, including two previously unreleased studio cuts: “Into The Ground” and “Proud Daddy.” Both songs were recorded during the original album sessions but were held back for this special release.

Ice Nine Kills has officially re-recorded the track “Hell or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler: Pt. 2)” for the upcoming horror sequel Ready or Not 2: Here I Come. The song was originally performed by Grave Diggler, an ‘80s sleaze-rock outfit that once rivaled the likes of Mötley Crüe and Poison before fading into obscurity in the early ‘90s.

AC/DC guitarist Stevie Young was admitted to a hospital in Buenos Aires following a recent concert in South America. According to a spokesperson, Young was hospitalized “out of an abundance of caution” to undergo a full battery of tests. Stevie joined the band in 2014, taking over for his uncle and co-founder Malcolm Young.

After a lot of careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to step away from our European festival tour this summer to focus on finishing our new album.

The CARNAL era has taken us around the world for 193 shows, including three European tours and the biggest crowds of our career. It’s been incredible, but we need this time to recharge, be with our families, and make the best record we can.

Attila has officially bumped up the release of their tenth full-length record, CONCRETE THRONE, moving the date from April 8 to today March 20, 2026. The surprise early drop features several guest appearances, including Lorna Shore vocalist Will Ramos on the track “Pressure.”

The collaboration marks a reunion of sorts for Ramos and Attila frontman Chris Fronzak, who previously teamed up in the short-lived metalcore project The Big Six.
