The Mars Volta has announced a new live album, Lucro Sucio; Unfinished Business. It arrives digitally on Sept. 4 and on physical formats Oct. 16. The set features live versions of songs from their 2025 album Lucro sucio; Los ojos del vacio.
The band says they took an experimental approach, blending performances from their recent tour into a high-fidelity, layered reimagining of Lucro Sucio. Fans picked which recordings to include by voting on the band’s website.
You can stream the Unfinished Business version of “Cue the Sun / Alba Del Orate” now. The Mars Volta will start a U.S. tour in September, including an opening slot for My Chemical Romance in San Antonio.
