The Oasis documentary Don’t Look Back in Anger will have its world premiere at the 2026 Venice Film Festival, which runs Sept. 2–12 in Venice, Italy. The film follows the band’s 2025 reunion tour. It shows rehearsals, backstage moments and concert footage. It also features Noel and Liam Gallagher’s first joint interviews in over 20 years.
Venice festival director Alberto Barbera said the Gallagher brothers have promised to attend. Don’t Look Back in Anger opens in theaters and IMAX on Sept. 11. It will stream on Hulu and Disney+ later in 2026.
In other news, Oasis’s 1995 album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? has been named the biggest studio album ever by the U.K. Official Charts Company. It ranks third overall, behind Queen’s Greatest Hits and ABBA Gold.
