The Pretty Reckless drops new track from forthcoming ‘Dear God’ album + reveals tour dates

The Pretty Reckless has just dropped a new song titled “When I Wake Up,” from their upcoming album, *Dear God*. Frontwoman Taylor Momsen describes the track as “the story of a dream becoming a nightmare.” She explains that it reflects a life of excess that feels like a thrilling ride but is ultimately headed for disaster.

*Dear God*, the follow-up to 2021’s *Death by Rock and Roll*, is set to release on June 26. The album features the lead single “For I Am Death,” which recently topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.

In addition to the new music, The Pretty Reckless has announced a headlining U.S. tour. The tour kicks off on July 10 in Raleigh, North Carolina, and wraps up on September 26 in Silver Spring, Maryland. Presales start on March 17 at 10 a.m. local time, with general ticket sales beginning on March 20 at 10 a.m. local time.
