To celebrate the 25th anniversary of their iconic album Forever, the Spice Girls are reissuing it on vinyl. This limited-edition release features a striking black-and-red marble design and comes with four collectible art prints.
Originally released on November 1, 2000, Forever was the group’s first album without Geri Halliwell. Much of the music was written during their 1998 Spiceworld Tour, but after Geri left, many songs were scrapped, and a planned live album was canceled. Although it didn’t reach the top of the UK charts, Forever still produced hits like the double-A side “Holler/Let Love Lead The Way” and the Christmas classic “Goodbye.”
With this album, the Spice Girls shifted their sound, working with renowned American R&B producers like Darkchild, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis. They recorded in famous studios around the world, including New York’s Hit Factory and London’s Abbey Road.
Forever also marked a turning point for Emma Bunton, Mel B, Mel C, and Victoria Beckham, who were starting to explore solo careers. The group wouldn’t reunite until 2007, when they released a greatest hits album with Geri back in the fold.
This reissue follows the 2022 celebration of their album Spiceworld, which included new editions with bonus tracks and unreleased live recordings.
Don’t miss your chance to grab the Spice Girls’ Forever on vinyl!
