Thirty Seconds to Mars has just released an acoustic version of their hit song “The Kill.” This new version is part of the upcoming 20th anniversary reissue of their 2005 album, A Beautiful Lie.
The acoustic track comes with a video that features nostalgic footage of the band on tour and performing. In the video, Jared Leto shares his thoughts on what the band means to him. You can check it out on YouTube.
The reissue of A Beautiful Lie will be available on March 27. Along with the acoustic version of “The Kill,” it includes two previously unreleased songs: “God’s Eye” and “Over My Head.”
A Beautiful Lie was the band’s second album and featured popular singles like “Attack” and “From Yesterday.” Their latest album, It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day, was released in 2023.
Fans can look forward to the reissue and enjoy the new acoustic version of “The Kill.”
