On January 12, 1957, Elvis Presley recorded a hit song at Hollywood’s Radio Recorders. This track topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks and marked Elvis’s first No. 1 single in the U.K. Sadly, on the same date in 2023, his only child, Lisa Marie Presley, passed away at 54. Lisa Marie was briefly married to Michael Jackson and is best known for her song, which reached No. 16 on the U.K. Singles chart.
