Thomas Bangalter, one half of the now-defunct Daft Punk, has announced a new album titled “Mirage – Ballet for 16 Dancers.” The album will be released on June 5 and features music Bangalter created for the ballet “Mirage,” which premiered in 2025. The album is described as “a vast and atmospheric piece of electronic minimalism.” Fans can look forward to a track from the album called “Mirage: part. II,” which will be available this Friday. Daft Punk, which included Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo alongside Bangalter, split up in 2021.
