Three Days Grace Achieves 19th No. 1 on Rock Charts, Approaching All-Time Record

In January 2025, Three Days Grace scored another hit with “Apologies,” marking their 19th time at No. 1. They are now just one hit away from tying Shinedown’s record of 20. The band announced on Instagram, “New album ALIENATION out August 22. Listen to ‘Apologies’ now!” This new track follows their previous single, “Mayday,” which topped the charts for five weeks.

Excitingly, “Apologies” features a collaboration between original vocalist Adam Gontier, who left the band in 2013, and current singer Matt Walst. Walst, who was part of My Darkest Days before joining Three Days Grace, has helped maintain the band’s hard rock sound while adding his own flair.

Three Days Grace started in Ontario, Canada, in 1992. Their 2003 debut album opened many doors, and the hit “Just Like You” launched them into stardom. Since then, they have released a string of hits that resonate with fans.

Not many rock bands use a two-singer approach, but Walst has kept the band’s signature sound while bringing something fresh. Their new songs feature short, punchy verses and huge choruses that fill stadiums. The dual-vocal style on their latest tracks continues to elevate Three Days Grace.

Over the years, they have shown remarkable staying power, adapting to changes in style and lineup while holding onto their rock crown. Their catchy songs and relatable lyrics make them a favorite among rock fans.

This August and September, Breaking Benjamin will join Three Days Grace on tour. Tickets are available now, including VIP options in cities like Fort Worth, Charlotte, and Austin. Don’t miss out!
