Three Days Grace’s hit song “Animal I Have Become” has officially joined the Spotify Billions Club! This 2006 single is now the second track from the band to reach over 1 billion streams, following their earlier hit “I Hate Everything About You.”
With this achievement, Three Days Grace becomes the only Canadian band to have two songs with over a billion streams on Spotify. The band shared their excitement in a statement, recalling how the song started as a simple riff on a bus in Germany. They said, “What began as a raw idea on the road for a band from a small town like Norwood grew into a song that connected with millions around the world. Seeing it now join the billions club is pretty incredible.”
Currently, Three Days Grace is on tour promoting their latest album, “Alienation,” which was released in 2025. This album marks a new chapter for the band, featuring both returning frontman Adam Gontier and longtime singer Matt Walst.
