Tom Morello Joins Måneskin for Performance on ‘The Tonight Show’

Tom Morello joined Måneskin for a performance last night (January 26) on The Tonight Show.

The Italian rock band and Morello performed the song “GOSSIP” from Måneskin’s new album Rush!, which is out now. Morello is also featured on the studio recording of the track.

Morello said in an interview with Måneskin for Rolling Stone“I’m a fan of the band. I’m very proud of my Italian heritage. The Morellos are from a small town called Pratiglione, which is at the base of the Italian Alps. I always felt a strong connection to that country.”

He continued, “When I heard there was a rock and roll band from Italy that was blowing up around the world, I was like, ‘Really? Come on.’ [Laughs] Then, when I saw them play live, I love the fact they’re one of the standard bearers now for rock and roll for a younger generation.”

Morello added, “People throughout history have counted rock and roll out. Time and time again, there’s been bands that have come forward and said, ‘We are going to represent for now.’ For young kids now, they’ve got this band. And they kick ass!”
