Tomahawk, Mike Patton’s band, reveals first live performances since 2013

Tomahawk is hitting the road again! The band, led by Mike Patton, has announced their A Huge Waste of Your Time and Money tour. This marks their first live tour in 13 years. The tour kicks off on July 18 in Nashville and wraps up on August 15 in Los Angeles.

Joining them on the tour will be the Melvins. Presales start on Wednesday at 10 a.m. local time, and tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 a.m. local time. For the full list of tour dates and ticket information, check out Ipecac.com, Tomahawk’s record label.

Tomahawk was formed in 1999 by Mike Patton and guitarist Duane Denison from The Jesus Lizard, following the breakup of Faith No More in 1998. The current lineup also features former Helmet drummer John Stanier and Trevor Dunn, who played with Patton in Mr. Bungle.

Speaking of Faith No More, they haven’t performed live since 2016. They planned to tour in 2021, but those dates were canceled due to Patton’s mental health issues. However, he has since returned to the stage with Mr. Bungle and is set to tour in April with his AVTT/PTTN project and folk band The Avett Brothers.

Get ready for some great live music this summer!
