Tony Iommi may have something new coming Wednesday. The Black Sabbath guitarist posted a short Facebook video showing close-up footage of him playing a riff. The clip included the date July 29.
That suggests news about his solo work. Iommi said on New Year’s Eve 2025 that he plans to release a new solo album in 2026. Check back Wednesday for the update.
Iommi reunited with original Black Sabbath members Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for a final performance at the Back to the Beginning concert in July 2025. Ozzy died a little over two weeks later.
