Tove Lo “Brings the Dirt Femme Tour” to The Fillmore in Philly

Tove Lo brought her ‘Dirt Femme Tour’ to The Fillmore in Philadelphia on February 9, 2022, showcasing her latest album, “Dirt Femme”, and giving her fans an electrifying live performance.

Opening act Slayyyter set the tone for the night with a high-energy set that included tracks from her own discography as well as a cover of Britney Spears’ “Toxic”.  ” Her stage presence gives off a very Lady Gaga vibe.

The crowd was energized and ready for Tove Lo as she took the stage, beginning with “Pineapple Slice” from her latest album “Dirt Femme,” a concept album that explores the various sides of femininity through a range of sonic and lyrical styles. The album was created as a companion piece to her 2019 album “Sunshine Kitty”, and it was evident that Tove Lo was excited to perform its songs live.

Throughout the night, Tove Lo’s performance was filled with infectious energy and undeniable stage presence. She performed tracks from “Dirt Femme” like “Are U gonna tell her?”, “Call On Me”, and “Grapefruit”, each one showcasing a different facet of her musical and lyrical range. The audience was captivated by Tove Lo’s powerful voice and engaging presence, singing and dancing along to every song.

One of the standout tracks from the night was an acoustic version of “Moments.” The stripped-down performance of the song highlighted Tove Lo’s raw talent and vulnerability, and the audience was moved by the emotion in her voice.

Of course, Tove Lo didn’t neglect her previous hits, performing fan favorites like “Habits (Stay High)”, “Talking Body”, and “Glad He’s Gone”. But it was the tracks from “Dirt Femme” that truly shone, showcasing Tove Lo’s growth as an artist and her commitment to exploring new sounds and themes.

Tove Lo played a total of 20 songs including a fan request with a surprise for the fans by playing “Borderline”, which premiered officially that night at midnight.
