Country staple Trisha Yearwood is to lead a new multi-media membership campaign by the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Its aim is to double the membership of the famed Nashville landmark by the end of the year, and in so doing bring membership participation back to its pre-pandemic levels.

“This institution is a treasure for the world – a beacon,” says Yearwood, “and it is also a treasure awaiting you, your family and your friends.” She has always been closely associated with the institution, since the native of Monticello, Georgia worked as a tour guide at the museum after coming to Nashville to go to college and to pursue her music dreams in the mid-1980s.

“Years ago,” she goes on, “I found out quickly that to walk through the doors of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is to embark upon a learning experience like no other. There is tangible history here, supported by the institution’s unduplicated collection and exhibits. This history is living and breathing, with a steady heartbeat that will nourish you in the here and now, while connecting the past with the future.”

She has continued to be a strong advocate and poster artist for the Hall of Fame, performing at its Hall of Fame induction ceremonies, fundraisers and events. Yearwood has also donated personally to the museum’s collection and its membership program. In 2015, she was the subject of her own exhibit, Trisha Yearwood: The Song Remembers When, which featured childhood photos, a personal letter from Johnny Cash, and artefacts from her parallel careers in acting and as a writer of cookbooks.

By becoming members of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, supporters help to provide foundational philanthropic support and sustain its educational mission. They also receive free admission to its galleries, the Taylor Swift Education Center, family programs, and special events, plus discounts at its retail stores. Numerous levels of membership are available, including the new Traveler’s Membership for out-of-state guests.
