The nominees for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards are out. The Best Alternative category features Twenty One Pilots’ “Drag Path,” MGK and Fred Durst’s “FIX UR FACE,” Noah Kahan’s “The Great Divide,” Tame Impala’s “Dracula,” sombr’s “Homewrecker,” Geese’s “Taxes,” and Olivia Rodrigo’s “the cure.”
This year there’s no Best Rock category. The VMAs air live Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m. ET on CBS, with a simulcast on MTV and streaming on Paramount+. Fans can vote through Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. ET at Vote.MTV.com.
