Twenty One Pilots just can’t resist covering “Seven Nation Army” again! After performing the song at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony for Jack and Meg White, the duo brought it back during a show in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Before they kicked off the song, a special message from Jack White appeared on the video screen. “Hi, I’m Jack White, and I give Tyler and Josh permission to do this song,” he said in the video, as seen in fan footage.
Jack’s support is a big deal, especially since he could have held them back. Instead, he gave them his blessing to perform the classic track.
Fans can also look forward to seeing Twenty One Pilots’ concert film, “More Than We Ever Imagined,” which premieres in IMAX and theaters worldwide on February 26. There will be exclusive IMAX previews on February 25, so mark your calendars!
This is an exciting time for fans of both Twenty One Pilots and the White Stripes!
