Two Iconic Joe Cocker Vinyl Albums Scheduled for Reissue

Two classic albums from Joe Cocker will be released on October 24, just weeks before he is posthumously inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on November 8. His debut album, *With A Little Help From My Friends*, came out in April 1969. The title track was originally by The Beatles in 1967. The album also features covers of Bob Dylan’s “Just Like a Woman” and “I Shall Be Released.”

Cocker’s second studio album, *Joe Cocker!*, was released in November 1969. This LP includes covers of songs by Bob Dylan (“Dear Landlord”), The Beatles (“She Came in Through the Bathroom Window” and “Something”), Leonard Cohen (“Bird on the Wire”), and Leon Russell (“Delta Lady” and “Hello Little Friend”). Cocker co-wrote one song on the album, “That’s Your Business Now,” with his frequent collaborator Chris Stainton.

Recently, several rare live performance videos of Joe Cocker have been re-released in HD on YouTube. Last month, a clip of “Albion Intro From The Anglo Saxophone (AKA Mad Dogs & Englishmen Theme)” from the 1970 concert film *Mad Dogs & Englishmen* was shared. Other highlights from the film include performances of “The Letter” and “She Came In Through The Bathroom Window.” The *Mad Dogs & Englishmen* concert film, released in March 1971, received high praise from critics, including Roger Ebert, who called it “the best rock coverage since Woodstock.”

Additionally, fans can check out a special performance of “You Can Leave Your Hat On” from Night of The Proms in the Netherlands on October 16, 1992. Don’t miss out—order the new Joe Cocker vinyl reissues now!
