Get ready for some high-speed fun in Orlando! Universal Orlando Resort is launching a new Fast & Furious roller coaster called Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift. This exciting ride will be part of Universal Studios Florida.
The coaster is set to be the first outdoor high-speed roller coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood. It will feature a thrilling 36-degree rotation and a massive 170-foot vertical “spike.” Riders can expect to zoom along at speeds of up to 72 mph!
The original version of this ride was announced for the West Coast back in May 2024, with plans to open in 2026. Check out the first look of the attraction below!
To make room for this new ride in Florida, Universal will permanently close Fast & Furious – Supercharged in 2027. The new coaster will take over the space where the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit coaster used to be.
Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting addition to Universal Orlando!
