The Halloween Horror Nights attractions celebrate over 40 years of the late heavy metal icon’s solo music career.
Universal Studios is launching “Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness” haunted houses for its annual Halloween Horror Nights event. The Orlando attraction opens at Universal Orlando Resort on August 28, while the Universal Studios Hollywood experience opens on September 3, with both running on select nights through November 1. Honoring the late heavy metal artist’s solo career spanning more than 40 years, the immersive houses take visitors through scenes and album art from records such as Blizzard Of Ozz, Diary Of A Madman, Bark At The Moon, No More Tears, and Ordinary Man.
The project was created in collaboration with Sharon and Jack Osbourne alongside Universal creative directors Mike Aiello and Charles Gray. First announced in July by licensing agent Global Merchandising Services, the attraction features dark visual moments and hidden Easter eggs. Official merchandise, including apparel and collectibles, will be sold at both park locations and online at shopUniversal.com, with event tickets available at HalloweenHorrorNights.com.
