To make up for the inconvenience, Verizon announced a $20 credit for those affected. If you’re a Verizon customer, you can claim your credit through the myVerizon app. You’ll get a text message when your credit is ready to use.
The outage started around 12:30 PM and was resolved by about 10:20 PM the same day. Verizon acknowledged that they didn’t meet the high standards customers expect. They want to help those impacted by offering this credit, which is easy to redeem by logging into the app.
