Life of Agony has just released a live video for their cover of “Don’t You (Forget About Me).” The band, known for their album “River Runs Red,” put their unique twist on this ’80s classic, originally by Simple Minds for The Breakfast Club soundtrack. They included it in their 1995 album, “Ugly,” but this is the first time they’ve performed it live during their 2025 tour, which celebrates the 30th anniversary of “Ugly.”
Bassist Alan Robert shared, “Bringing it to the stage after all these years — and experiencing the live energy of the crowd — made the song one of the highlights of the set every night.” Fans can check out the live video on YouTube.
In related news, Black Stone Cherry has also covered “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” for their upcoming EP, “Celebrate,” set to release on March 6.
