The trailer for the new Travis Barker documentary Louder than Fear is here. The film follows Barker’s recovery after a 2008 plane crash that killed four people. Barker and his friend Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein were the only survivors. Goldstein died in 2009.
The trailer, now on YouTube, includes interviews with Barker and his blink-182 bandmates Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge. It also features Tommy Lee from Mötley Crüe and clips of the late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. “This is the story of the man behind the tattoos,” the film says. “A tribute to those who keep going when the music almost stops.”
Louder than Fear streams on Disney+ and Hulu on Aug. 13. It premiered earlier this year at the Tribeca Festival.
