Primus has released a new video for “The Ol’ Grizz.” The song is from their EP A Handful of Nuggs. The clip is partly animated and follows an old-time prospector. It also mixes in live footage of the band. The video was directed by Cage Claypool, Les Claypool’s son. You can watch it now on YouTube.
A Handful of Nuggs came out in May. The EP includes a collaboration with Maynard James Keenan called “Little Lord Fentanyl.” It also has a live cover of Dio’s “Holy Diver” and a live take on “Duchess (And the Proverbial Mind Spread).” New drummer John Hoffman appears on the EP. He joined Primus in 2025 after Tim “Herb” Alexander left.
