The Strokes have released the video for “Going Shopping,” the lead single from their new album Reality Awaits. The clip features actor Walton Goggins opposite frontman Julian Casablancas. They riff on the famous Paul Simon video for “You Can Call Me Al,” with Casablancas in Simon’s spot and Goggins taking the Chevy Chase role. The video also slips in some political commentary. Reality Awaits is the band’s seventh album and their first in six years. It arrives July 24. The Strokes will restart their U.S. tour on July 12 in Richmond, Virginia.
