Watch Dethklok Perform “Thunderhorse” For the First Time in Three Years

Animated death metallers Dethklok returned to the East Coast for the first time in a decade last weekend, and Adult Swim posted pro-shot footage of the band performing the fan favorite “Thunderhorse”. Stream it below.

Ahead of the band’s triumphant return to the stage, bandleader and Metalocalypse creator Brendon Small revealed that Dethklok’s legend will continue via a full-length feature film. He told Radio Sara: “We’re right in the middle of making the movie, so all the questions that were still lingering after The Doomstar Requiem (a 1 hour long rock opera special) are being answered… I don’t want to say too much about it, but it’s a very big project, we’re all excited to be knee deep in it right now.”

Before Dethklok’s set, which wrapped up the 3-day Adult Swim Festival Block Party in Fishtown, Sara rocked the Fillmore with a set of metal and hardcore tracks. Check out the epic singalong of Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” below, and see more footage of the chaos here.

Metalheads, be on the loookout: just before he took off for Philadelphia, Brendon Small’s studio was robbed and several one-of-a-kind guitars are now missing. Keep your eyes peeled for the gear below, either in the LA area or posted for resale online.
