Welcome to Santa Carla, where vampires roam and Slash is rocking out! The legendary Guns N’ Roses guitarist has lent his incredible guitar skills to a new song titled “Have to Have You.” This track is part of the upcoming Broadway musical adaptation of the ’80s cult classic, The Lost Boys.
You can check out the video for “Have to Have You” on YouTube, which includes footage of Slash recording his amazing solo. Cast member Ali Louis Bourzgui shared his experience working with Slash, saying, “Slash is sitting down, so chill in his chair, and he pulls out his guitar and plays this absolutely insane solo in one or two takes. Then he asks, ‘Is that good?'” Bourzgui described the solo as “incredible” and “mathematical.”
The Lost Boys: A New Musical is set to premiere at the Palace Theatre in New York City on March 27. But that’s not all! Slash is also featured on the theme song for the new movie Deathstalker, a remake of the 1983 fantasy film.
