Watch the Exclusive Teaser for the Unreleased John Lennon and Yoko Ono Film ‘Clock’

A new film from John Lennon and Yoko Ono, titled “Clock,” is set to be released over 50 years after it was filmed. A teaser has just been shared, showing Lennon performing “Honey Don’t” at the St. Regis Hotel in New York, with Ono by his side. This performance is one of 20 songs featured in the film. A gold clock is prominently displayed in the foreground, which is central to the film’s concept.

In 1971, Lennon and Ono were preparing to release “Imagine,” along with a longform music video for the album. Before that, they filmed two other videos. “Freedom” was Ono’s idea, while “Clock” was Lennon’s. The film consists of a single shot focused on the gold clock for one hour, with Lennon and Ono performing in the background. Lennon described it as not being a traditional movie, but more like a backdrop. He planned to mark the time by talking through the frame every 15 minutes and suggested they should go wild at the hour mark.

Alongside the film, Lennon and Ono’s work is getting renewed attention with the release of “Power To The People.” This massive 12-disc box set includes nine CDs and three Blu-Rays, highlighting their early years in New York and their political activism, including the One To One benefit concert. Ono wrote in the preface that it represents their belief in “Rock for Peace and Enlightenment.” The set is produced by Sean Ono Lennon, who was excited to remix the concerts and explore unreleased material from their archive. “Power To The People” will be available on October 10.
