MMRBQ artist Finger Eleven are back with new music for the first time since 2015. The band’s Greatest Hits collection is due out on this summer, and it includes the brand new single “Together Right.”
The video for the song was just released, and it shows a group of factory workers who go from monotonous conformity to freeform movement in an elaborate dance routine. The dance is meant to reflect the lyrics; frontman Scott Anderson explains, “‘Together Right’ is about unity… The song has an optimistic-sounding chorus but it’s really a desperate plea from one party to another asking please stick around, let’s go down with this ship together.”
Greatest Hits arrives on June 16, with a blue smoke vinyl edition to follow on August 25. In addition to hits like “Paralyzer” and “One Thing,” it’ll also feature a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Welcome to the Machine,” a song that they frequently incorporate into their live sets.
Speaking of concerts, don’t miss Finger Eleven’s return to the MMRBQ on September 16th with Shinedown, Billy Idol, Dirty Honey and a full day of rock with the MMR fam – tickets are available now.
