Weezer Release Their Cover of Metallica’s ‘Enter Sandman’

Weezer is one of over 50 artists contributing to The Metallica Blacklist, a compilation of covers from Metallica’s self-titled 1991 album (aka: “The Black Album”), which turns 30 this month.

Weezer took it upon themselves to cover “Enter Sandman,” one of Metallica’s most iconic tunes. While Weezer don’t stray too far from the source material, they deliver a solid cover, which can be heard below.

In addition to The Metallica Blacklist, Metallica is also reissuing The Black Album. Both titles are due out September 10 and are currently available for pre-order at Metallica.com.
