Weezer Unveils 2026 Tour Dates Featuring The Shins and Silversun Pickups

Weezer is hitting the road this fall with their tour, “Weezer: The Gathering.” The North American trek will cover 32 cities, starting on September 8 in Sacramento, California, and wrapping up on October 24 in Los Angeles. The Shins and Silversun Pickups will open for them.

After their sold-out “Return to the Blue Planet” tour, which celebrated 30 years of music alongside Green Day and Fall Out Boy, Weezer is back with another exciting lineup. This tour will stop in major cities like Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto, New York, Washington D.C., Nashville, Orlando, Houston, Austin, Phoenix, and San Diego. For ticket details, check their official site.

To celebrate the tour, Weezer is hosting a fan event in Los Angeles next week called “The Initiation.” Fans can enjoy a Weezer-themed trivia night, compete in a pickleball tournament against the band, and look forward to other surprises.

Additionally, Weezer will release a new single titled “Shine Again” on April 1. This will be their first new music since signing with Reprise/Warner Records and will give fans a sneak peek of their upcoming album, expected later this year.

Weezer has a unique charm that keeps them relevant. Emerging from the ’90s alt-rock scene, they brought a fresh sound with catchy melodies and relatable lyrics. Songs like “Buddy Holly” and “Say It Ain’t So” showcase their quirky style. It’s not just about perfection; it’s their personality and pop-infused alternative tracks that make Weezer special.
